Amazingly rude attitude the moment we stepped in, we just asked if they started serving the food and she rudely waved her hand to the waitress to tell us that they didn't. Really nice attitude congrats!

Good food, good staff, good location.

This place has decent service (except this time I had to remind them about the beer I ordered), but their fish ranges from not good to possibly dangerous. I ordered a tuna steak medium rare and what I got was a very fishy, tough, and nearly-rotten item. I sent it back, and of what did the salmon for fear of the same problem, and finished with the curry chicken (which was not bad). Like other Key Biscayne restaurants, they have trouble doing anything about children that are being extremely an unreasonably loud, as if this did not impose a cost on other patrons.

When ever I hear "Novecento" I think of super delicious empanadas. They are delicious. I especially like the beef, and the ham & cheese empanadas. We also like their ceviche. It's always very fresh and tasty. I've been to both of their locations on Brickell and now Key Biscayne and both locations are consistently good with their food quality and their service. Prices are reasonable and the wait staff is always pleasant. If you like empanadas, try Novecento.

Great service, delicious food & dessert. Been there so many times that I've lost count!

Extremely poor mussels, salmon. Vastly overpriced and added 20% tip on taxed total. Poor service. One of the worst in Key Biscayne. Outside area full of smokers. Inside very noisy.

We were looking for an Italian restaurant in Key Biscayne and with dismay settled on Novecento. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise as the food surprised our palette with a burst of Argentine spices and flavors. My wife had always grilled me for eating without enjoying the taste of the food. At Novecento, I actually savored every bite as I wanted to taste every moment. We started with the Cevichie con Tostones as an appetizer, then we all shared the our main courses with each other. The lobster ravioli, the Picada Criolla which is their tasting platter of different meats and Penne al Pesto was all good. The best part of the Picada Criolla was the sausages, beef and chicken Empanadas. I can't wait to return to the restaurant.

Wow. Underwhelming. Went here for a simple lunch. Took too long to be served and it was expensive. Empenadas were ok.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! Very prompt staff. Lomo steak was beyond belief. Tender to perfection in Malbec glaze, sweet potatoes mashed into the softest cream. I will always and always go back every time I have a chance.

We were not planning on eating here but were kind of forced to when El Gran Inka's rude service catapulted us elsewhere. We were immediately greeted and seated outside, even though they were quite busy. Very good service form the hostess. I wanted to empanadas and was so disappointed to learn they were fried - not baked. Come on guys, you're Argentine - those suckers are suppose to be baked! The waiter said they could actually bake them but that it would take quite a while. I opted to wait and I am glad I did - they were good. Not the best I've had (if you want an empanada to DIE FOR, go to Bunburry). It was a little too greasy for my taste but it was good. Others at the table had the blood sausage and the grilled skirt steak, and the crab ravioli - they were all delicious! The wine was good and my friend kept having vodka shots that were quite generous. All in all, a good experience and I would recommend you stop by and check it out.

Great place to eat in KB. The food is always great! Given that the placed is closed it can get rather noisy at times. The service is good, however I do find its not consistent, sometimes I get great service and sometimes not so much. I do recommend it!

Arrived here at novecento at 6:15pm and was greeted by a young lady who took our drink order. Then greeted by a second person asking for our drink order, and then again a third person Lorena, greeted and I asked her if she was our waiter as she was the third person to greet us. She said yes. Ordered the calamari and two burgers. Drinks came and later the burgers with no calamari. Called the waitress and informed the calamari was not brought to our table and we wanted to cancel it. She hesitated for a moment to register what I said. I assumed she wasn't paying attention while entering the order in the POS. I'm not surprised as the staff are lingering around chatting away and neglecting the tables. Service was seriously lacking as I had to continue to get the waitresses attention for drinks. Once we were Donne eating an amazing burger, once again, we were asked by 2 people if we wanted dessert or coffee... Just seems redundant as this isn't white table cloth fine dining establishment.... Unsure if I would come back here again to be neglected in service for a $16 burger...... Overall unimpressed with the establishment Staff being very pretentious and not service inclined. I'd say pass for other eateries on the key....on the bright side I got a 10%discount for sucky service for not receiving the calamari

At first glance, we were turned off by the wine selection and decor. We were quickly won over by the cuisine. Never judge a book by its cover...

Love this place! Every time I'm in the area I make a note to go here. The ceviche is amazing and can be eaten as a meal. They have very delicious steak entrees as well. A great place to dine in or even order take out and eat at the beach. The maracuya juice is a treat.

Hmmmn, I would love to give a good review to this place, but I must say that because of the poor service, one might not want to give it a try. Small cramped interior, well designed but with no breathing room. Outside, it's just another dressed up strip mall. I received better service in Paris.

We had a large group of 14 that started as a reservation for 7 that was revised three times and they still seated us on the patio as we requested. Food was probably the best I had while in KB. Great mix of grilled meats, pastas, & Latin cuisine. The service was just excellent and in the Latin tradition there was no one pushing us out the door after the meal. We were welcome to enjoy the evening and relax.

Wow! What a great little restaurant! The ambiance was fun, and casual dressy! We decided to have a small celebration there with 25 people after our wedding on the beach. Simple, simple. But the staff made us feel like family. Anna M. is gracious, amazing and so professional. Our wonderful attendants Irlinda and Linda were so attentive and took care of everything with so much energy and kindness. The food was delicious-their empanada from our special menu was delicious and their steak is truly incredible!!!! Of course they kept everyone's glass full of sangria throughout our celebration and it was so refreshing. Yummm. They have ample parking and it does not require valet service such as their other establishment in Brickell. Overall, it was a pleasant, relaxing and joyful experience. My husband and I plan to return many times to enjoy the food and the great customer service!!

The food was really good...eventually. We started with drinks that were delivered amazingly quickly. Our server quickly followed with a basket of bread. Microwaved then cooled, it was hard as a rock. Figuring this was a just a fluke we ordered dinner beginning with 2 salads. I ordered a house salad, dressing on the side. My companion ordered a caprese with no balsamic vinegar. Both salads arrived covered in dressing and after 10 minutes or so we were able to flag down someone to send our server over and our properly prepared salads arrived. Next came our entrees: Crab ravioli and shrimp in a saffron cream sauce that was just amazing, and a skirt steak and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavor was wonderful. The potatoes, however, were ice cold. Again we flag and we wait. The potatoes were replaced by warmer (but still not hot) ones and we finished our dinner. At 10:30 when we left they were still seating parties for dinner. It was really busy and seemed surprisingly unorganized for a well established restaurant. I hope we just hit it on a bad night, because this place could be really, really good. Our experience can be best summed up in one word: sloppy.

Dear Novecento on the Key, Yay! What a lifesaver for a nice lunch with some business associates and my boss. Came here with a business group at my suggestion, and I was so glad you pulled through! We definitely were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the service was particularly good. For the record, we did get here just as the restaurant was opening for lunch, so there was only 1 other table here at the same time. This Novecento is following the style of the others, and was nicely decorated with unique and eclectic items. Located in a smaller strip mall that's always busy, the restaurant itself was a bit smaller than it's other locations, but the space works, and you've done a great job of using the front outside area as well. Being a small group of 4, we quickly were seated and given menus to begin our search for lunch. Our waitress was friendly, informative and quick, all excellent qualities. We all reviewed the menu and quickly made our choices, with myself opting for a four-cheese ravioli. While we waited, we munched on bread with oil, while sipping on our drinks. Our lunch came rather quickly, which is always a plus during business hours. The waitress sprinkled a nice amount of grated Parmesan cheese on my raviolis, and I began to devour. They were delicious, with a nice pink sauce, filled with cheesy, creamy goodness. The lunch-size portion was perfect, and I still had leftovers to take home to my love to try. I am super excited to have a Novecento across the street and yet totally disappointed that I don't come here more often! I swear I will. Thanks for not letting me down when it was my turn to pick the place for the boss. :) Til next time... SabrinaAnna*

On a weekday afternoon. Sat outside with my family. Great service from the manager. Fantastic food. Tried the watermelon ceviche, the clams and the Novecento salad. White wine, perfect weather, perfect afternoon. Even they offer mostly Argentinian / Italian food, we tried a curry chicken that was perfect. Very recommended place. Will go again.

I am a fan. Novecento pulled off a small space well. The service is good, the food is simple and tasty and the prices are very reasonable. There is no more to say, give it a go and let us know what you think. Well done.

just saw a negative review on Novecento and wanted to disagree. I eat here about 2-3 times a week. it's consistently excellent and the device is awesome. I have brought many friends and family with me over the year and I have never heard about a bad or even mediocre meal. nothing but GREAT for Novecento.

Updating my review of Novecento on Key Biscayne. Dinner the other night was great! And the service was oustanding! The Picado plate most generous and the ceviche fresh and tasty. WOW! They have certainly improved their operation. Great news for the Key.

I'd argue it's the best "going-out" restaurant on Key Biscayne. It's got a great lively vibe, very good bistro food and they do brunch. All of that makes me a happy camper. The sweetbreads are absolutely delicious (a must), though the portion size is pretty huge so make sure you're sharing. The tuna is amazing and seems to be very healthy. If healthy's not your thing, the Lomito sandwich is wonderful. Great South American-style fries. Solid Empanadas. Good Ceviche. Not so good plantains. When I went for brunch I saw someone eating Eggs Benedict with a side of fries and I'll definitely be getting that next time!!

This place just does it for me. The food is great and the atmosphere is from another time. I always feel relaxed and am able to enjoy myself until our bottle runs dry, and yes the wine is fantastic. Everything is prepared professionally and to perfection right down to the smallest detail. I am very much looking to return to Key Biscayne for another great time this winter and of course dine at Novecento.

This Argentine Steakhouse does everything good, but nothing remarkable. The service was really good while the Caesar Salad and my skirt steak were good. The bread dipped in the eggplant spread was tasty.

The sweet breads are some of the best I've ever had and remind me of traveling in BsAs. They have an excellent wine selection and the owner used to manage the Novecento on Brickell. It's already a hotspot, so I give it about a year before someone tries to convert the Key Pharmacy next door into a Segafredo's.

The food and drinks were good. The service was excellent. Probably the best we had on Key Biscayne. The food is good, the bread served is fresh and comes with a good dipping sauce, it was also good with butter. The lettuce and veggies were fresh and the grilled chicken breast was excellent, it actually tastes like pork shop, it is boneless but has skin, however the skin seems to add to the flavor and retention of marinades and juices. It is a chain, but a chain worth while! I have not been to the other locations so I can't comment on them.

Great restaurant. The food is top-notch and the bar is actually pretty fun as well around happy hour. Outdoor seating is a bit cramped, but I would recommend this restaurant as a top-3 option on the Key.

Went there with 7 coworkers. Great service and great food. Sangria was spot on and 4 bottles later emptied. Octopus, special carpaccio, special empanadas, & crab ravioli were all shared and highly recommended. Steaks and flattened chicken with toppings were the most raced about entrees. Caramel crepes for dessert were excellent if you like simple 'Nutella' type crepes which I do. Be sure to make reservations.

Yelp app took us to a Sushi restaurant when I searched nearby. We pulled into the parking lot and saw that Novecento was in the same strip center. I miss this restaurant as we had several here in Miami that are no longer open. It was during the Sony Erickson and whew were they ever busy. The manager was able to grab a table from the inside and pull outside for us. Nice breeze, it was a perfect evening ti sit outside. Our server approached us and took our drink order. I had a glass of their house Malbec which was good. I truly enjoyed the teamwork between the servers and assistant servers, they all worked together as we were all of their guest. I ordered a Churassco with chimichurri. The steak was cooked to a medium rare, very juicy and tasty. It was very tender and the chimichurri was excellent. The mashed potatoes that came with it were not my favorite. They were super creamy and no flavor almost tasted like an instant potato. Thank goodness I enjoyed the steak very much so it was not as huge deal breaker for me. Service was great, good food, nice atmosphere. Prices were average especially for the area.

Genre for rating: Moderate, Argentinian Food: ***** Service: ***** Atmosphere: **** One of the best Argentinian eateries I have been too. Surprisingly deep menu for a moderately priced restaurant. Tavern setting on the inside, with limited outdoor seating, so the noise level can be high at popular dinner hours. However, the flavors, selection, and quality for the price are well worth it. What I got: meat sampler, salad Best bet: try the meat sampler either for your entree or app to see what you like the most. The steak was fantastic.

Homemade gnocchi was incredible! Generous portion of Sea Bass over perfectly cooked stir fried veggies. Kids had skirt steak - great! Carlos was a great waiter - very knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. I want to go there again to try the other homemade pasta dishes and entrees.

I so wanted to like this place, it being my first taste of Argentine cuisine. Salmon a la parilla: a small piece of grilled salmon with a lot of steamed rice with tiny cup of mango salsa, among the worst composed meals Ive seen. How can one eat that? Penne Al Pesto: Bland, tasteless, oily. Guacamole salad: chicken salad with guacamole, nothing much to screw up. Pollo al curry: interesting to read on menu, pretty bland and buttey, probably the least bad one. OVERALL: Pricey, tasteless food. Spend ur money elsewhere. vegetarians will suffer here.

This is hands down the best place on the Key (unless you are specifically looking for Pizza or Peruvian food). The place tends to be loud with the roar of an upscale crowd. It's Argentine cuisine with an excellent menu of meat, pastas and wines. I've enjoyed the steaks, gnocchi, ravioli, and desserts. Service consists of beautiful people with a beautiful attitude.

A go-to pick for any day of the week; Novecento does not disappoint! Service is impeccable, food is incomparable, and the ambience is oh-so-enjoyable! A definite A+ on Key Biscayne! Lunch, dinner, happy hour, or late night....you will not be disappointed!!!

Part of a small chain, I delayed a visit to Novecento for a while having sampled Novecento's fare on Brickell. The chain places a great deal of emphasis on trendiness. As for this location: good, but not great. I've found the service to be erratic - and once, downright pushy in terms of clearing tables so the next set of diners can be seated. I didn't appreciate being rushed in our group of five. On the plus side, there's a good wine list and the wine specials are usually well-chosen, affording you the chance to try vintages you might not find at your local shop. To summarize: you can expect a fine meal IF the place isn't overly crowded. Timing is everything.
